Belgrade panoramic tour (up 2 hours)
Sightseeing includes: National Assembly, Royal Palaces Old and New, National Museum, Terazije Square, Kralja Milana Street, St. Sava Temple, Yugoslav History Museum and Belgrade Fortress.
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY – built 1907-1936. At the entrance there are sculptures ‘Black Horses Danse’ by Toma Rosandic.
OLD ROYAL PALACE – built in 1882 as a private residence of King Milan Obrenovic. Nowadays it serves as a City Hall.
NEW ROYAL PALACE – built in 1911-1922 as the residence of King Aleksandar Karadjordjevic. It is the seat of the Republican Assembly.
NATIONAL THEATRE– built in 1869 upon the order of Prince Mihailo Obrenovic.
NATIONAL MUSEUM – the oldest of Belgrade museums housed in a 1903 building.
TERAZIJE SQUARE – the city centre.
KRALJA MILANA STREET – the main street connecting squares Terazije and Slavija.
KNEZA MILOSA STREET – one of the oldest representative streets.
ST. SAVA TEMPLE – one of the world largest orthodox churches.
YUGOSLAV HISTORY MUSEUM – consists of the 25th May Museum, the Old Museum and House of Flowers. The House of Flowers built in 1975 for J.B.Tito to work and rest in. He was buried there according to his wish in 1980.
BELGRADE FORTRESS – on a hill above the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. It is divided in the Upper and Lower Town and the Park Kalemegdan.

Sightseeing includes: Belgrade Fortress, Knez Mihailova Street, Princess Ljubica Cottage, Orthodox Cathedral, Patriarchal Palace, Kosancicev venac, Student, Republic and Terazije squares.
BELGRADE FORTRESS – upon the hill above the confluence of the Sava and the Danube. During its 2 thousand years long turbulent existence it attracted warriors and conquerors, well-known builders, artists, travel writers… It consists of the Upper and Lower town and the Park Kalemegdan.
KNEZ MIHAILOVA STREET – the main pedestrian/shopping street of Belgrade. Due to its impressive edifices from the end of 19th century it is under the State protection.
PRINCESS LJUBICA COTTAGE – built in 1829 as the family residence of prince Milos Obrenovic for
his wife Ljubica and sons Milan and Mihailo. Now it houses an ethnographic collection.
ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL -dedicated to St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel built in 1845. Both father and son, Millos and Mihailo Obrenovic were buried there.
PATRIARCHAL PALACE – designed by Lukomskij, a Russian architect. It houses the Orthodox Church Museum.
TAVERN ‘?’ – the oldest of Belgrade restaurants built in 1825. Many times, it changed its name and owners. The last owner as a temporary solution put a board with ‘?’ on, lasting up to now.
KOSANCICEV VENAC – paved in cobble stones is a Belgrade part preserving the look of a Serbian settlement from the first half of 19th century.
STUDENT SQUARE – once the Turkish graveyard, then the 19th century Big Market. The space cleared, now with a park surrounded by the Ethnographic Museum, Natural science faculty, Kapetan Misha edifice and Kolarac endowment.
REPUBLIC SQUARE – one of the main squares with the National Theatre and National Museum, monuments to Prince Mihailo and Branislav Nusic, writer.
TERAZIJE SQUARE – Belgrade centre called after the water tower reservoir at the end of Mokri Lug Aqueduct denominated water scales=terazije by the Turks.
Longer City Tour (up to 5 hours)
Sightseeing includes a regular tour plus visits of New Belgrade and Zemun. (Usce-Business Centre, Serbia Palace, Arena, Contemporary Art Museum). In Zemun there is the Millennium Tower up on Gardos hill, Nikolas Church, Karamamta family house, Church of the Birth of the Holy Mother of God, Spirta House, Franciscan Monastery, Kontumack, Chapels of St. Gabriel and St. Rock.
USCE-Business centre once housing the Central Committee of Yugoslav Communist Party designed by Mihajlo Jankovic in 1961 -65. It was damaged in NATO air-raids in 1999 and renovated with a big shopping centre added to it.
SERBIA PALACE – formerly SIV (Yugoslav government) designed by a group of architects i1947- 54.
ARENA – by its size the 4th sports hall in Europe accommodating 20. – 25.000 spectators depending on the type of the event.
CONTEMPORARY ART MUSEUM – designed in 1961 by Antic and Raspopovic, situated in the Park of Peace and Friendship.
NIKOLAJEVSKA CHURCH – the oldest of Belgrade churches built in 1742, dedicated to the transfer of the relics of St. Nikolas.
KARAMATA FAMILY HOUSE -built in 1763 is the oldest family house in the city belonging to the same family for about 250 years.
TEMPLE OF THE BIRTH OF HOLY MOTHER OF GOD – built 1777-83 with a highly decorated iconostasis by Aksentije Markovic in 1788.
SPIRTA HOUSE – a family house built in pseudo gothic style. It is the Homeland Museum of Zemun.
FRANCISCAN MONASTERY -constructed in the middle of the 18th century when the Franciscan monks left Belgrade for Zemun in 1739. It was completely destroyed in fire in 1790 and reconstructed in 1839.Now with only one monk living in.
KONTUMACK CHURCHES OF ST. ARCHANGEL AND ST. ROCK – Both were built on the premises of the former quarantine when for 140 years both people and goods were held for 42 days coming from the East to prevent the spreading of diseases. Out of more than one hundred structures in the area of the fortified quarantine only these two churches were left.
BELGRADE FORTRESS AND KALEMEGDAN (up 2 hours)
Visit includes: Stambol Gate, Clock Tower, Zindan Gate, St. Petka Church, Turbe(tomb) of Ali Pasha, Nebojsha Tower, Victory Monument, Gratitude to France Monument.
EXCURSIONS TO BELGRADE VICINITY
Avala, Surcin, Kosmaj, Vinca
AVALA – this mountain is only 16km far from Belgrade in the south east direction. It is 511 m. a. s. l. being within the administrative boundaries. There is the Mausoleum to the Unknown
Hero on its top. Nearby there is the monument to the Soviet Veterans and a rebuilt telecommunication tower 204,5 m, for the time being the highest of its kind in Serbia and Balkan. It enables the wonderful view to Belgrade, Vojvodina and Sumadija regions.
VINCA – an archaeological site, part of the eponymous settlement inhabited from early Neolithic period (about 5700 BCE) up to the medieval times. The whole ancient Danube civilization was called after it.
